Derek, the founder of Kraken Laser Creations, served 25 years in the U.S. Navy across submarines, helicopters, and surface ships. His career was built on precision, accountability, and the kind of attention to detail that keeps people safe at sea. Those values don't disappear when you hang up the uniform—they become part of who you are.
After transitioning from active service, Derek brought those same principles to entrepreneurship. Co-owned with his wife Jodi—a career nurse and hospital executive—Kraken Laser Creations reflects the service-driven mindset that defines both of them.
